1. What is a Power Attenuator - Power attenuators are devices used to reduce the amount of power going from the amplifier to the speaker(s). As opposed to a volume control on an amp, attenuators are almost always external, outboard devices that connect between the amps speaker out and the speaker(s). People use power attenuators because they like the way an amp sounds when turned up loud. An attenuator allows you to get power tube tone at lower overall volumes.
2. Will an Attenuator harm my amp - There are two opinions out there about attenuators harming a tube amp: some say they will and some say they won't. An attenuator will not harm your amp any more than cranking your amp up without an attenuator. It's the possible strain on the amps output transformer that may have problems. You must match the impedence of the amp with the attenuator for optimum performance. If your amp is old with original parts or is a vintage amp that is valuable, you my not want to use an attenuator with it. For what it's worth, I've not had an amp blow and I've not had any TUBEJUICE users with blown amp from using an attenuator.
3. How does the TUBEJUICE sound - The TUBEJUICE sounds great and is very transparent. Feedback from buyers is excellent with most saying the TUBEJUICE sounds better than the name brand attenuators on the market. All attenuators will reduce the dynamic depth to some degree. The trick is to find the sweet spot where your amps sings and the attenuator controls your level and keeps it where you need it.
4. Can I use the TUBEJUICE with my amp - Any tube amp can be used with an attenuator. You'll need to make sure you match the impedence of the attenuator with the impedence of the amp. The TUBEJUICE will work equally with combo amps and head and speaker cabs. Make sure you don't go over the wattage of the attenuator with your amp, for example, don't use a MAX50 with a 100 Watt amp. It will work, but the extra wattage will probably over heat the attenuator. Don't go over the 15, 50 or 100 Watts of the particular model TUBEJUICE.

6. How is the TUBEJUICE built - I build each TUBEJUICE with high quality aluminum enclosures and quality components. Plenty of vent holes and a cooling fan ensure things don't get too hot and the hanging hole in the back can be a great way to keep the attenuator easily accessible when you need to tweak your tone. Also, the paint on every TUBEJUICE is different because of the splatter technique I use with neon orange paint. Check yours out in a black light. The dimensions of the MaX15 are 6" x 4" x 2.25, the MAX50 is 7" x 5" x 3", the MAX100 is the same as the 50 and the MAX150 is 8" x 6" x 3".

8. Do you offer a refund policy - Yes, you may return the TUBEJUICE for any reason within 7 days, starting the day your receive your attenuator, for your purchase price excluding shipping. 9. What is your shipping policy - I ship with United States Postal Service which is the most ecomical way to ship and is the only way to ship overseas. You'll receive an email with the USPS Delivery Confirmation Number after shipment is made.
